MESSAGE FROM MANAGEMENT<\/p>\n<\/div>

The factory \u2018s history begins back in the last half of the 19th century in Adana area in Turkey. Ousoultzoglou family name is combined with cotton ginning for more than 120 years. Throughout these years, even though the company passes from one generation to the next one, business ethics and principles remain strict and constant. <\/p>\n

The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to summarize principles and standards that are mandatory to secure sustainability and progress of the Company. Furthermore, internal practices must be based on rules to ensure continuity and consistency as well. <\/p>\n

Company\u2019s highest ethical standards and principles are Integrity, Credibility, Environmental Responsibility and Social Accountability. As leadership, we are committed to day-to-day business practices that comply to these values, we lead by example and communicate openly the guidelines for behavior of the company. <\/p>\n

For the reasons above, the scope of this Code is to present a guide for every person participating in the Company\u2019s operations in order to pursue a fair, transparent and legal business activity.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

COMPLIANCE WITH THE LAW<\/p>\n<\/div>

Every Company has the obligation to comply with the laws that a State has set. This is an obvious duty but not just a moral one. It is essential for all individuals to understand that compliance with the laws and consultation of the Legal Services of a Company, is the only way to secure that no unexpected consequences occur, concerning the legitimacy of their actions while performing their duties. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

All employees and employers are committed to act and behave with honesty and integrity. Everyone should ensure that all business operations and services are dealt with fair and unbiased manner. This principle applies to temporary and part-time staff employed by the Company as well. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The Company\u2019s constant presence in the field of cotton ginning for more than 120 years, the consistency of promises and actions and the long-lasting relationships that we have built with our employees and partners through all these years, are the first steps to obtain credibility for the family name. It is our commitment to sustain trust and credibility with our colleagues, clients and partners and make all parties confident that promises will always be fulfilled. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

SUSTAINABILITY<\/p>\n<\/div>

Over the last 30 years, our Company has set various systems and processes up in order to reduce adverse environmental and social impact resulting from the Company\u2019s operations.<\/p>\n

Application of high quality standard protocols such as Agro 2.2&2.4, certification implemented by the State\u2019s Agricultural Ministry, sets the basis for making decisions aimed at the constant improvement of our environmental performance.<\/p>\n

Our main effort and responsibility is to avoid practices and methods that compromise the environmental and social stability for the next generations. We emphasize on implementing processes that will secure the conservation of natural resources, such as saving energy, recycling and re-using materials, training the personnel to behave and work with environmentally friendly way and finally trying to ensure that every person related to the Company complies with the principles above. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY<\/p>\n<\/div>

Conducting business ethically and with sensitivity is an integral part of the strategy of the Company. Company\u2019s contribution and responsibility, towards the local society as well as in broader societies where it does business, are focused on social, cultural, environmental and economic issues. <\/p>\n

A good example of effective social contribution of the Company is economic development by creating jobs and supporting local suppliers. The Company also provides financial support to local festivals and events, local sport teams, social entities and poor families. <\/p>\n

Ethical responsibility is beyond the laws. Therefore, even if it is no legal obligation, the Company always follows fair trade practices, respects religions of employees or partners and acts ethically and responsively in its internal operations. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

INFORMATION PERSONAL DATA MANAGEMENT<\/p>\n<\/div>

Information such as clients and suppliers\u2019 lists, personal data and records, Company\u2019s financial data, contracts or any other information that affects or could affect the Company\u2019s activities, shall be kept confidential and protected.<\/span><\/p>\n

Any kind of this information may only be used and processed by the Company in compliance with the law and strictly only after written consensus of all parts.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

REPORTING VIOLATIONS<\/p>\n<\/div>

It is essential, for everyone in the Company, to understand that complying with the Code of Business Conduct, provides a safe and trustworthy working environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

It must be clear that every violation of the Code should result in penalties set by the Company and the relevant laws. This is the main way to secure that this Code is strict and valid. <\/p>\n
